A top down analysis of available technologies for delivery systems, sensors andguidance techniques, is proposed. The analysis will conclude what combination of Ladar and Millimeter wave based sensors, if any, delivered by what kinds of launchplatforms and airframes are best suited to the needs to detect, identify, andeffectively terminally home on mobile targets in modern battle field environments. A successful Phase II demonstration will open up a stream of advanced and full scaledevelopment activity for missile retrofit programs and new development missiles forAir Force, Army and Navy applications. By far the most apparent commercializationwill be in the DoD and NASA for space applications but, with variations in packaging,there could be private sector market applications (e.g. security surveillancesystems and collision avoidance).
