Management of ground water is more empirical art than science, much of which has been developed in the brick and mortar industries of mining, tunneling, dam and power plant design. This proposal is to research and document the state of the art in the U.S. and abroad, identify methods having potential to meet USAF requirements, and prepare a compendium as a base for future development to meet the needs of deep based systems.
