The objective of this proposal is to design and develop a technology framework called Asymmetrical State Exchange (ASE) that provides the capability for SIDs to exchange session state information. ASE would allow integration of SIDs within networks that suffer from asymmetric routing issues by allowing all SIDs to beware of all session states traversing designated networks. ASE will be an alternative solution for integration of SIDs into asymmetric routing network rather then having to engineer asymmetric routing out of networks.
