In 2003, Nascent Technology Solutions, LLC. was acquired by Luna Innovations - itself a very active SBIR involvd firm. Nascent had been founded with technologies licensed from NASA Langley. The firm develops instruments for non-destructive evaluation (NDE) using technologies such as ultrasonic sensing. . NDE enables difficult structural evaluations to be performed efficiently without damage or disassembly.
