Spun out of Advanced Fuel Research of East Hartford, CT -- already at the time a long time SBIR-involved firm - Real Time Analyzers, Inc. (RTA) was founded in 2001 by a group of experienced chemical spectroscopists and engineers and continues to be program active. Organized around development of rugged, high performance interferometer-based spectroscopic solutions for chemical analysis, the firm designs, manufactures, and markets high-performance NIR & Raman Spectrometers for use in chemical, biochemical and materials identification and characterization. The firm's personnel design, manufacture, and market high-performance Near-IR and Raman spectrometers for use in chemical, biochemical and materials identification and characterization, offering everything from portable field-based units and research-grade laboratory systems to industrial process control platforms. The firm also provides analyzers that perform continuous, real-time, trace chemical detection with the ability to operate in harsh industrial environments. Fiber optic probes allow easy installation and use in all forms of chemical-using industries. These include Biotech, Chemical, Environmental, Medical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Polymer and R&D.
