SoHaR Inc, whose name stands for Software and Hardware Reliability, proposes to tackle the problem of reconfigurable system component interdependencies at the level of Object Oriented Design. In this effort we will develop an Object Oriented System Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (OOS-FMEA). We propose to develop the methodology as well as a tool which will automate a major part of the FMEA including the extraction of component interdependencies. The work will be based on SoHaR's experience and contributions to Software FMEA automation and the Unified Modeling Language (UML).
