Apollo Instruments designs and markets laser systems, imaging systems, and various custom optical instruments. Applications include medical, industrial graphics and other direct thermal and illumination applications, and monitoring and measurement applications. The laser devices provided include fiber-coupled laser diodes and collimated laser diodes, turnkey high-power fiber-coupled laser diodes, fiber lasers, and other laser systems. The brightness of Apollo's fiber-coupled laser diodes can be over 2MW/cm?sr. By beam focusing, power density can easily exceed MW/cm?, which is high enough to mark stainless steel. The patented coupling technology applies to any wavelength and power level, and opens the door for many applications. Custom beam delivery systems and diode laser drivers are also available.
