The primary goal of this project is to design, develop, and demonstrate an electronic enterprise-wide single integrated environment for mechanics and engineers that will allow them to access applications based on their Lean environment. The old approaches to "systems" just don't apply anymore, and a simpler more focused approach is needed. Industry is learning that existing systems such as ERP, SCM and APS - through invaluable at the enterprise level - no longer fit the way they operate at the factory level. Infusion provides the single tool necessary to pull all this information together under a single interface that also provides comprehensive solutions which will reduce the time and effort required to perform key aspects of the design, day-to-day operation, and continuous improvement of a company's lean manufacturing facilities.
