In May 2016, Vanguard Space Technologies Inc as acquired SolAero Technologies. Formerly known as DR Technologies Inc, Vanguard manufactures and supplies high-performance, lightweight aerospace structures and space power systems to the aerospace and space industries. The firm provides full-service engineering, tooling, manufacturing, assembly and testing of satellite antenna reflectors, spacecraft structures, instrument structures and solar power systems. Vanguard has delivered satellite structural components and solar power systems and manufactured carbon composite and aluminum structures for more than 80 spaceflight missions.
