In June 2017 it was announced that Swedish firm Trelleborg AB would acquire Automated Dynamics Corporation (ADC). Long time SBIR Involved fromits earluset days, ADC specializes in the manufacturing of high-performance composite structures, development of advanced automation equipment, and solution-based engineering services. The firm offers patented Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) technologies and have produced hundreds of thousands of composite parts for over 500 clients in 17 countries. ADC builds right-sized, automated fiber placement (AFP) and automated tape laying (ATL) equipment for thermoset and thermoplastic applications.
