NanoDynamics, Inc developed and marketed products, advanced materials, and process technologies that provided clean technology solutions for the energy, environmental, and infrastructure markets. The company went out of business after filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy in July of 2009. Its products included Revolution solid oxide fuel cells, used in portable, residential, and distributed power generation; Cell-Pore water filters; a range of advanced materials, including nano-sized metal and ceramic powders, carbon nano-tubes, nano-structured steel, and nano-cement; and process intensification technologies that reduce energy consumption, decrease use of hazardous chemicals and solvents, improve throughput rates and lower capital investment requirements. The company has collaborative agreement with Kodak, Tata Chemicals, and Otsuka Chemical.
