With facilities in CT and CA, Qualtech Systems has been long time and extensively SBIR-involved providing tools for modeling analysis, embedded run time diagnostics, field maintenance and repair. More recently, the firm's technology has been adapted and deployed for usage at the depot maintenance centers of the Air Force, providing significant benefits through rapid and consistent turn-around times for aircraft parts and increase aircraft availability and their mission readiness. The QSI team is designing and implementing a consistent, systematic and repeatable model-based process and methodology through the adaptation of its COTS TEAMS equipment diagnostics and prognostics solution for Fault Management Analysis, Design and Deployment for WR-ALC. The core of the business are software tools and engineering services for Advanced Integrated Diagnostics of complex systems. Qualtech offers a comprehensive Integrated Diagnostics software package used in testability analysis, embedded run-time monitoring, interactive troubleshooting, model and maintenance management and remote web-based integrated diagnostics. at the core of TEAMs (Testability, Engineering and Maintenance Systems) is an Intelligent Reasoning Engine, a real-time program that can process thousands of test results per second. Running the irm's proprietary algorithms, the IRE correlates test results from a wide range of sources to determine the root cause of the failure. Users deploying a TEAMS system for the first time can expect a 75 85% accuracy rate without relying on any maintenance or service history. Over time, usage information is fed back into the modeler to further improve its accuracy rate.
