Public Profile

Winzen Engineering, a small research and development company, is dedicated to finding solutions to problems for the benefit of our customers. Because of today's fast-changing technology, Winzen engineers make extensive use of analytical and numerical techniques to create realistic answers that may be used immediately by our clients. Based on years of experience in the application of engineering principles to the problems of flight in the stratosphere, our staff is highly qualified in developing solutions for today's problems using innovative applications of mechanics and materials research. The use of polymeric materials for structural applications has led to a highly refined level of understanding of the time-dependent nature of situations that are commonly encountered in our civil infrastructure as well as in the stratosphere. In addition, the expertise developed over the years in the application of the principles of buoyancy allows the staff to seek creative solutions in the design and analysis of lighter-than-air vehicles.
