Describing themselves as addressing real world problems that don’t have obvious solutions. long-time SBIR involved (since founding of the firm) TDA Research is diverse team of scientists and engineers described as 'thriving' on the unique challenges each of the firm's one-of-a-kind projects present. Structured - by choice- to stay quick and nimble he firm's personnel decsribed themselves as proud of their own persistence and maintainance of long term relationships. With an assembled multi-disciplinary staff - larger than some fortune 500 R&D departments - the firm maintains a highly capable team to perform rigorous scientific research in three maintained facilities with a total area of 76,000 ft2 with research and pilot plant production space. Our original, 22,500 ft2, Wheat Ridge, CO facility includes offices, a 5,000-ft2 wet chemical laboratory, 4,000 ft2 of general dry laboratories, and a 3,500-ft2 high bay experimental facility. Our two Golden facilities (three miles to the west) contain an additional 53,500ft2 and house process development and synthesis projects and our pilot plant production area. It contains 33 hoods, extensive wet lab and bench top space, mechanical and electrical laboratories, and sorbent and catalyst manufacturing equipment. Our facilities provide the machining and electronic facilities needed to build up and support development and small scale production.
