Engenium Technologies (etc) is an Electrical and Computer Engineering Design firm offering a combination of services and products. Services range from systems analysis and concept development, to hardware design including digital, analog, and RF circuitry, to real-time embedded software development. Among Engenium’s core products is the Flexible Transceiver (Flexceiver) Software Defined Radio (SDR). A software defined radio is a device that can be configured to transmit and receive any variety of communications waveforms. For instance, it could be configured to implement the CDMA cellular phone waveform while in the USA and then be reconfigured to implement the GSM cellular phone waveform when in Europe. Our Network of Inexpensive Sensors Everywhere (NoISE) product is our second core offering. NoISE is as its name suggests, a collection of inexpensive networked RF receivers. Each receiver is capable of detecting the arrival of an RF signal within a broad range of center frequencies and bandwidths.
