A personal computer-driven mathematical model is proposed to enable the forecasting of cost and schedule effects for each contract change imposed on a ship contruction contract. The model will accommodate any type change and will include the resolution of additions, deletions, modifications, interruptions, or accelerations of work processes or materials. The model will predict the core cost of the change together with its impact on delay and disruption in construction of a ship. The model program will be flow-charted and documented with source and object code software. The software will be demonstrated on a conventional personal computer system of conventional memory and storage capacities.
