Sigma Technologies International Inc design and manufacture innovative turnkey coating and surface treatment systems as a means whereby to functionalize different material surfaces to include polymer films, paper, woven and non-woven fabrics, foam and metal surfaces. Surface functionalizing equipment includes Atmosphere and Vacuum plasma treaters, plasma grafting, radiation cured polymer coating equipment, and vacuum equipment for depositing polymer, metals, and metal oxides. Sigma also designs and manufactures a series of support instruments for customers in the packaging and energy storage markets. These include state of the art optical densitometers for measuring coating thickness, optical density, and resistivity of thin metallized films, multi-channel potentiometers, specialty power supplies and partial discharge data acquisition and analysis systems. The firm also provides product development and R & D services that include surface treatment and thin film coating, material characterization and failure analysis, component testing, and engineering and manufacturing consulting.
