A non-profit entity which is actually not SBIR eligible, ETR Associates is focused on maximizing the physical, social and emotional health of all individuals, families and communities by advancing the work of health, education and social service providers through high-quality research, publications, information resources, training and programs. ETR Associates is committed to helping children, young people and adults and their families and communities develop attitudes and behaviors that contribute to optimal health and well-being. Because the adoption of healthy attitudes and behaviors is complex and influenced by a multitude of personal and environmental factors, we believe that a variety of efforts is needed encompassing both health education and health promotion interventions. We also believe these efforts should be based on sound research and evaluation. ETR Associates addresses the needs of individuals, families and communities from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds. Our research, products and programs reflect this diversity and promote understanding and respect for the strength that diversity brings to our society. Bridging research to practice, ETR Associates is dedicated to developing and disseminating evidence-based programs and best practices. We assist communities, schools, health service providers, and community based organizations in using our programs, products and services helping clients to adapt and tailor them to the needs of local populations while retaining essential evidence-based characteristics.
