In mid 2014 it was announced that Hughes Associates, Inc. would merge with The RJA Group to do business as Jensen Hughes makig thenew entity larger than 500 person and having a worldwide presence and no longer SBIR eligible. In addition, the company develops software products, including computerized fire safety evaluation system for business occupancies, a tool that supports building fire hazard analyses and risk assessments; AgentCalcs, a design and analysis solution for gaseous extinguishing systems; and flow calculation software. It serves aviation, healthcare, higher education, architecture, government, DoD and DOE facilities, power generation plants and transmission facilities, historic preservation, industrial and petrochemical, and environmental engineering sectors. The company was incorporated in 1980 and is headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland with additional offices in the United States, China, Europe, Korea, and the United Kingdom.
