Originally SBIR Involved in the mid-eighties with an award from DOE that went to Phase II, Gougeon Brothers, Inc. formulates and manufactures WEST SYSTEM and PRO-SET marine-grade epoxies used around the world in boat building and boat repair. The firm's in-house chemists formulate all of Gougeon's epoxy products for excellent handling characteristics, superior strength and water resistance to withstand even the harshest ocean environments. All epoxy products are thoroughly tested in the firm's labs, as well as being submitted for independent testing by a fully accredited university. In addition to boat construction and repair, the firm's epoxies have been used in everything from architectural restoration to the development of high-tech aircraft and even spacecraft.
