On April 2014 Harvest Technologies announced that they had entered into a definitive agreement for acquisition by Stratasys, a leading global provider of 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions, for an undisclosed amount. Harvest Technologies, Inc. is engaged in the production of prototypes and production parts for consumer products, electronics, oil and gas, power tools, toys, automotive, medical, and aerospace industries. The firm had provided plastic and metal parts and assemblies, static and interactive models, and 3D solid models. The company offered laser sintering, stereo lithography, CNC machining, RTV tooling/urethane casting, metal casting, 3D printing, rapid tooling/production, post-processing and finishing, metal coating, and CAD modeling services.
