Xanofi, a nanotech company specializing in production of nanofibers, is changing how nanofibers are manufactured with a new platform process that is highly efficient and easy to integrate into production environments. Using a patented technique called âXanoShearTMâ, this scalable -Xanofi process will produce nanofibers at lower cost and significantly higher yields than current methods. This game-changing technology will enable many more industrial and consumer products to reach the market sooner. Xanofi nanofibers may be used in surgery, wound care, regenerative medicine and other fields. Its first product, XanoMatrix, is a growth platform that mimics native tissue structures in order to simulate in vivo conditions. This next-generation cell scaffold gives the benefit of high surface area nanofibers for cell growth but in a chaotic architecture that mimics the extracellular matrix better than the current generation of scaffolds. Material allowa for enhanced cell propagation and migration as well as greater cell viability. Xanofi is also working on functionalizing the firm's high flow 3D nanofiber liquid filtration mats with custom peptide ligands targeting laboratory affinity separations.
