Asthma Management Systems (AMS) is a healthcare company that provides adherence and communication training for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and asthma educators.The interactive educational program includes a comprehensive review of barriers associated with poor adherence and provides proven adherence strategies from video examples and role playing.
Attendees learn basic elements of Motivational Interviewing techniques to facilitate the delivery of the adherence strategies presented in the curriculum. Length of training varies from a 3 hour workshop to 2 to 3 day intensive learning. Instructors are available to provide training in the office/clinic setting. Trainees may earn Continuing Education credits.
