In the area of acoustics the firm's focus is on scientific and engineering solutions in underwater acoustics, structural dynamics and vibration, ocean-seismo acoustics, signal processing, and data fusion. Such project work is often based on integrating science and engineering, the firm's nformation technology prowess in distributed sensor networks, embedded linux systems, and cloud computing applications. Among the firm's government sponsors are Office of Naval Research (ONR), and the Army Research Labs (ARL). Academic clients include MIT, Harvard, Boston University while private sector projects have included Lockheed Martin Corp., Raytheon, Lincoln Labs, RedHat Inc., and IBM. Services offered have organized around Detection, classification, and tracking algorithm development for sonar and radar surveillance systems; At-sea system testing and experimental data collection in complex environments; Computational modeling and simulation of acoustic propagation, scattering, and reverberation; Vibration analysis of complex mechanical systems; Data fusion algorithm development and implementation for disparate sets of sensors; Expertise in planning and executing underwater acoustic experiments and Software and embedded Linux systems prototyping for reliable distributed network applications. A recently completed project undertaken (Feb 2019) in collaboration with Lockheed involved the mount of three sonars with a complete 360 degree view undergoing testing at the University of Rhode Island School of Oceanography.
