For over two decades - since 2002 - the personnel of Academic Web Pages Inc. - located in Northampton MA have build websites for research labs, graduate programs, university departments, research centers, faculty profiles, and research coordination networks i.e for the world of academia across the entire United States. Perhaps ironically, the selected SBIR submitted project speaks to a very different uitilization of the firm's skills and experience: the dramatic widening with the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of children, combined with disruptions to school-based mental health services. The firm's synopsis of their Phase I SBIR request unstead speaks to Mental HealthApps (MHapps) and how they show early promise to alleviate mild to moderate forms of emotional disorders like anxiety and depression, while improving broader domains of functioning, including academic engagement and social competence.
