Previosuly doing business as Advanced Laser Systms. the name of the firm was changed to Snake Creek Lasers LLC (SCL) in 2003 when the present management joined the firm. The company invented and began manufacturing green (532 nm) microlasers (MicroGreenTM and MiniGreenTM) in 2005. With thousands of the firm's devices currently in operation worldwide, they are used for pointing, illumination, guidance, and many other applications in the other standard and custom specialized laser modules that incorporate power supplies, beam expanders, and boresight control. Snake Creek Laser is also involved in the development of cryogenic solid-state lasers, and holds three world-records for Yb:YAG cryogenic laser performance. During 2016 the firm was workingon offeringing their first commercial cryogenic solid-state laser products.
