The Advanced Deployable Aircraft Maintenance System (ADAMS) is a game changing approach to rigid walled deployable structures with the potential to fill an un-met need across the Air Force enterprise for maintenance shelters, additive manufacturing labs, corrosion control facilities and other specialized facilities. Development of a family of rigid deployable structures will provide a catalog of options for Air Force users needing time critical, weather hardened hangars, paint booths, additive manufacturing labs and other modular spaces. Trac9 is proposing to further develop our already well-developed EXOHAB shelter by outfitting it with modular enhancements, creating new capabilities to support corrosion control and maintenance activities. During the proposed effort, Trac9 will adapt the ADAMS shelter system for corrosion control, integrating features for controlling, containing, and disposing of hazardous fine particulate emissions and other corrosion control and painting/de-painting process byproducts. T9 will also perform an analysis and/or test of the ADAMS structure under load to assess the performance of the shelter when subject to horizontal (wind) loads, as well as vertical (snow) loads.
