In April 2019, Bioproduction Group was acquired by Emerson (SWX:EMR) a global technology & engineering company in industrial and residential markets. With ties to Berkeley, since 2007 Bioproduction Group Inc has been a biomanufacturing and operations research firm working on providing a suite of enterprise software tools and services, designed and developed to address the client's most significant biomanufacturing challenges. The firm's Real-Time Modeling System consolidates supply chain and manufacturing operations data, allowing the client and colleagues across the enterprise, to visualize that data. This feeds an accurate model of the client's process, and provides outcomes like quality by design (QbD), real-time scheduling, de-bottlenecking and more, across a facility, or a network of facilities around the world.
