Public Profile
In April 2019, Bioproduction Group was acquired by Emerson (SWX:EMR) a global technology & engineering company in industrial and residential markets. With ties to Berkeley, since 2007 Bioproduction Group Inc has been a biomanufacturing and operations research firm working on providing a suite of enterprise software tools and services, designed and developed to address the client's most significant biomanufacturing challenges. The firm's Real-Time Modeling System consolidates supply chain and manufacturing operations data, allowing the client and colleagues across the enterprise, to visualize that data. This feeds an accurate model of the client's process, and provides outcomes like quality by design (QbD), real-time scheduling, de-bottlenecking and more, across a facility, or a network of facilities around the world. The principals offer themselves as experts in biomanufacturing capable of understanding the challenges faced: coping with the complexity of biotechnology and the manufacturing process, the avalanche of supply chain and production data, the consolidation of facilities, the cost of inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and maximizing production throughput while maintaining quality.
