In consideration of this SBIR solicitation, CANA Advisors (CANA) proposes Data Integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) Network Applications (DIANA), a customizable suite of GovCloud, AI-enabled modules that perform specific functions within DLA distribution centers. CANA’s efforts will support the joint effort between DLA Research and Development (R&D) and DLA J4 Distribution Headquarters to research and test an AI warehouse solution integrative with other cutting-edge platforms and applications. DIANA is an integrated data management system that will span applicable existing and future systems while allowing for the development of modules tailored for specific warehouse operations. DLA, and future commercial entities, can define these functionalities based on need and individual state of technological advancement. DIANA’s fundamental design is based on integration into the existing warehouse communications systems, and its anticipated modules can include and interact with Smart Warehouse systems such as 5G Networks, IoT Sensors, Blockchain technology, Quantum Computers, and Machine Learning (ML). CANA foresees future interoperability with visual inventory sensors (VIS), control of robotics, and control tower visualization tools. Due to DIANA’s GovCloud compliant architecture, this interoperability will require minimal to no infrastructure modification to enable DIANA and supported modules to operate within the warehouse environment. Our approach is to use the GovCloud compliant Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem because of its many services offered and the ability to prototype and scale any final solution quickly. In addition to its effectiveness in the Continental United States (CONUS) DLA warehousing environment, DIANA with an AWS hybrid cloud architecture will allow for the quick setup of satellite DLA warehouses worldwide. Our proposed architecture will also allow for the rapid implementation of DIANA and improved warehouse layouts in remote or austere locations. The CANA team - CANA and its expert small business partner, Charles River Analytics, Inc. - has substantive experience in military and commercial logistics operations, industrial engineering, distribution, and warehouse management systems planning, dispatch operations, transportation planning, data management, modeling and simulation, systems integration, the autonomy of processing, software development, operations research, data visualization, cloud-based hosting, and software application development. CANA is a leader in developing applications for the GovCloud environment. Our expertise and skills are directly transferable to warehousing, multi-modal movement of things, distribution operations management, and information challenges. CANA has researched and developed assessment playbooks for AI model development and has recommended AI data and technology to foster an end-to-end AI methodology tied to automated processes to provision cloud services fo
