Founded by a group of telecom industry veterans with a collective experience of several decades at leading network infrastructure vendors and Tier-1 communications service providers, Tiami Networks is organized around the task of addressing the fact that 5G - as presently structured - has the largest attack surface of any mobile broadband technology. The two driving forces behind the 5G system architecture - disaggregation and virtualization - are also responsible for creating a host of new security challenges. Interfaces and applications that were once co-located are being opened up to other cloud applications and third parties.
