Headed up by the inventor and researcher of an environmentally friendly, hydrometallurgical-based, low temperature Li-Ion battery recycling technology for the US Army, Wasatch Ionics is structured around addressing the widespread problem of recycling of end-of-life lithium-ion batteries - an effort seriously constrained currently by the very high cost of energy intensive recycling processes. This project proposes a better solution that promotes the expansion of an economically-sustainable and environmentally-friendly lithium-ion battery recycling industry in the US.
