With Blueshift Optics LLC having secured a license to utilize the Organic Glass Scintillator (OGS) technology from the US DOE in partnership with Sandia National Laboratories, interest in OGS technology has expanded from national security applications to nuclear physics and medical imaging: the first business effort to commercialize OGS and to offer products for sale. as a company, Blueshift Optics is structured around bringing the latest advancements of scintillator materials technology to the radiation detection community. The effort is to provide value-added organic glass scintillator products that have high performance, reliability and ready-to-use without post-processing manufacturing.
