Headed up by a team of players who - as youngsters had experienced sports- related injuries that were often left undtreated - the principals of Vistendo indicated that annually - in the US alone - some 10 million youth athletes are injured. Left unchecked, some of these sport injuries can go from hurt to what may become life-long problems. Suggesting that relevant help to determine the seriousness of an incurred injury may still be available for only a small percentage of youth athletes, Vistendo was born from a group of past youth athletes, serial entrepreneurs and engineers structurred around addressing this problem for youth sports i general.
