General Radar provides a new class of digital RADAR sensor, fusing a Component-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) backend processing architecture with a novel beam-steering antenna to create a low-cost, high-performance RADAR package with tunable specifications. This system is capable of scanning large areas for first detection, following subsequent Tracks-of-Interest (TOI), and performing Target Identification, all within a tabletop package requiring minimal power, oversight, or security. Objectives for this Phase II proposal are: Verify and validate General Radar Mk-IV capabilities at a field day exercise. Evaluate potential utility of General Radar technology to Northern Warning System problem set. Overhaul an experimental radar with General Radar's new architecture. Verify and validate General Radar "Second Sight" technology for target identification.
