Hellen Systems LLC is developing and deploying an enhanced long-range positioning and navigation system (eLORAN) for aircraft and maritime applications. The solution utilizes high power, low-frequency radio signals that are transmitted from land-based radio towers. Existing GPS/GNSS solutions have multiple vulnerabilities including disruptions, blockages, and high-jacks through either natural or unintentional means as well as intentional and hostile actions. The firm's solution offers a resilient back up capability to GPS by utilizing differential corrections to improve accuracy.
