Public Profile
DMI services include research and development (R&D) in field of physical sciences, design of prototypes, high pressure and high temperature (HPHT) systems, fabrication of anvils, fabrication of samples, assembly of HPHT systems, HP and HT calibration and other experimental works. HPHT systems are designed to provide following procedures: pressure assisted polymerization (PAP); pressure assisted sintering (PAS) and pressure synthesis of diamond (PSD). New materials and composites have been developed with help of these procedures. DMI's achievement is the development of new carbon material that is not graphite-like and not diamond-like. This material (Diamonite-B) is a result of PAP of mixed fullerens and nanotubes.
