Public Profile
ThermAvant Technologies, LLC ("ThermAvant") fabricates advanced heat transfer products and delivers energy management services for commercial, industrial, and governmental customers. The company has three strategically related business groups: Custom Thermal Transfer Products, which provides high performance heat pipes, heat exchangers, and other heat transfer products that are not commercially available; Energy Management Services, which offers energy management services to organizations seeking to improve energy efficiency and financial productivity, including a focus on data centers and their thermal management opportunities, and on industrial manufacturing sites; Development & Commercialization of the HHP-JET, a patent-pending High Efficiency Heat Pipe Jet Engine for Cooling and Heating (the "HHP-JET") for applications where cooling loads are coincident with readily-available, low-grade thermal energy. The HHP-JET technology can be powered by solar hot water, process waste heat, return water from boilers, or rejected heat from engines. When such sources of thermal energy are readily available, the HHP-JET provides cooling without any fossil fuel inputs and with none of the climate changing emissions (or operating costs) associated with traditional electrically powered chillers. The company's products include microchip packaging, electronics assembly heat sinks, lithium-ion battery cold-plates, and industrial air-air heat exchanges.
