Public Profile
Offering a very different form of remote sensing - a stratospheric micro-balloon - Urban Sky Theory Inc has developed a broad area, high resolution aerial imagery solution that is far more cost-effective than satellites, aircrafts, and drones. The technology - designated Microballon - is a re-usable stratospheric balloon equipped with remote sensing technology that can be launched from anywhere with minimal personnel and equipment required. Applications include regular mapping of cities, monitoring of wildfire areas and disasters, agriculture crop management, distributed asset monitoring and security, and any other application that requires broad area collection imagery.
