(TIG) is a technology spin-off company with extensive experience in modeling, simulation, sensing, imaging, field testing and assessment of structural systems for maintenance, rehabilitation, preservation and management decision-making for civil, aerospace and energy structures. Principals of the firm have undertaken R&D in the areas of modeling and simulation, sensing and imaging, and maintenance and decision-making for structures ranging from bridges to buildings to industrial systems. The firm's primary product, FIST (Framework for Infrastructure Support Technologies), is a software system helping to optimize decision making using NDE inspection data. The company also offers rapid assessment of structures for structural health monitoring and non-destructive evaluation for determining load carrying capacity, load rating, concrete surface inspection, and drive-by inspections. TIG’s particular focus is non-contact (image-based) local and global monitoring of structures for rapid, cost-efficient and effective assessment.
