The company's sensors use advanced infrared spectroscopy technology to detect and distinguish between different gases to include everythng from propane to ethane and butane thereby enabling oil and gas companies to recover more gas value than it costs to purchase and operate. In mid-December 2020 it was announced that Project Canary - an International Environmental Standards company providing environmental solutions for the global energy industry - had acquired Austin, TX -based Troposphere Monitoring, Inc. The entire team took of executive positions with the acquiring entity
