Benefit: We believe that our novel laser technology can enable numerous other applications in other spectral regions. Because the QD gain spectrum can be readily engineered with QD size and composition. In particular, compact and energy efficient narrow linewidth lasers are important for other Dual use applications in a multi-channel sensing, coherent communications and coherent Lidar systems.
