With a continuing presence in SBIR since soon after the firm was founded - up to and including recent past (2021) - Vibrant Corporation is structured around development and commercialization of process compensated resonance testing (PCRT) technology for aerospace and power generation industries. The firm's PCRT is a non-destructive testing technology designed to determine if a component is structurally sound and - thereby - fit for service. Anchored in work begun at Los LAmos National Labs, the firm went on to develop robotic machines for fully automated, nondestructive testing of aircraft parts. With a UK presence (since 2008) and, (since 2012) also having facilities in Germany, the company offers its technology for in-process and final inspection applications to component manufacturers, as well as to screen components for gross defects, such as cracks, fatigue, and overheat for maintenance, repair, and overhaul companies.
