We propose a blockchain-based framework for resilient information processing. We formulate the problem as an information supply-chain tracking problem and develop conceptual construct that map blockchain tools/techniques to the problem of tracking the provisioning of information assets. We utilize smart-contracts to create course-of-action (COA) rules for handling exceptions that arise from attacks and other disruptions. We also propose metrics for evaluating measures of effectiveness of the proposed blockchain system for information provisioning scenarios. Blockchains are an emerging set of technologies with a rapidly developing tool ecosystem that hold promise for a variety of mission information assurance use-cases. Our main research contribution is to map these tools to the specific problem of resilient information provisioning.blockchain, information resilience,Information Assurance,Smart Contracts
