Electronic BioSciences LLC, alongside its sister company, Quasar (another SBIR awardee) develops state-of-the-art instrumentation for research and sensing applications. The firms technology is centered on the measurement of electrical current with exceptionally low noise electronics in order to produce sensitive systems for nanopore and ion channel measurements, with potential applications in DNA sequencing,ion channel characterization, and chemical sensing. The focus of this work is to take cell potential measurements without breaching the cell membrane or otherwise harming the cell.
