Taza Aya LLC, spun out of the University of Michigan, is developing a non-thermal plasma device capable of inactivating viruses and bacteria in the air. The technology's primary application is combating porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRS), an airborne pathogen affecting swine and poultry.
