LC Drive develops technologies for electrical rotating machines. LC Drives has developed patent pending technology that will revolutionize the electrical machines market from 10kW to 10MW. The overall machines market is worth in the region of $5B broken into three major segments. Traction motors represent the largest and include high reliability applications in multiple segments. Wind generators have huge value proposition but high barriers to entry and finally Industrial machines are highly segmented and require a broad channel approach. Early target customers include oil & gas drilling applications, marine propulsion, and vehicle propulsion. All require high reliability machines and demand high power per volume or weight. Oil & gas requires more power in the current footprint. Marine propulsion requires small size and weight to fit in engine rooms designed for diesel engines.
