ClearSign Combustion Corporation (NASDAQ:CLIR) develops combustion technologies that improve energy efficiency, emissions control, fuel flexibility and overall cost effectiveness. The company's two primary products are called (1) Duplex, which helps improve combustion flame pattern and to prevent NOx and CO from being formed and (2) Electrodynamic Combustion Control, a computer-controlled electrostatic force manipulation of the flame and the surrounding gas cloud. The technologies have applications for any system that utilizies a flame and can be retrofit onto existing systems such as refinery process heaters and steam generation systems.
