Previously dba Paragon Intellectual Properties - an LLC with seven divisions - in October 2008 was renamed Nexeon MedSystems, a single corporate entity that would focus on cardiovascular devices. Coincident withthe retructuring the firm raised its first round of VC (Series A) to include major corporate suuport as well as private investors. In 2015, Nexeon underwent a change of control and was incorporated in the state of Nevada and has headquarters in Dallas, TX, with subsidiaries in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Liege, Belgium.
