Spun out in early February 2018 from Physical Optics Corporation (POC) - arguably one of the earliest and most active SBIR-STTR Awardees - Intellisense Systems, Inc. With a focus on augmented intelligence and software applications for hardware enhancements, an early product line inthe firm included the Micro Weather Sensor (MWS), which was developed for military and defense purposes, and was subsrquently utilized in the California wildfires, provided critical and localized weather data to fire fighters.
