API) is focus is research and development company focused on development of novel and relatively inexpensive products which simplify complex and expensive procedures and methods, thus promoting a more efficient and safer world. API has developed products in areas of forensics, detectors for toxic gases and liquids, detection of traces of explosives and personal protection from toxic materials. Projects include the utilization of advanced engineering polymers such as fluoropolymers in a range of applications from specialized O-rings and gaskets to advanced exploratory medical devices. On the other end of the spectrum, API engaged in developing detectors for ammonia in chicken houses, toxic materials in animal feedstock, detection of gluteraldehyde in sterilization equipment, etc. API is open for joint projects with other corporations and universities on specific projects. The technical personnel of API have consulted many small and large corporations as well as individuals on variety of subjects including chemical and drug processing, novel energy utilization and extraction processes.
